LIFE, The Nature of God

One of the most important Natures of God himself is his nature of LIFE.  He created life, sustains life, and gives eternal life.  Even those whom hate him, he keeps them alive, wakes them up everyday, and will give them a separate eternal life as well.  Understanding this Nature of God also helps us correctly see the His desires and Will regarding the issue of abortion.

He chose to give life instead of leaving us as dirt and clay.  He gave us unique and more value than insects, fish, and birds.  He chose to keep us alive after we sinned against him and He GAVE us a chance at attaining the eternal life with him, we lost.  The sinful and wicked wake up every day, because God allows them too. We are all disgusting sinners and yet, he lets us live (Matthew 5:45).  As revealed in our article Is a Fetus transcendentally valuable?, he makes known how valuable our lives are!

"Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." (Gen. 2:7) 

"You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever... For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light." (Ps. 16:11; 36:9). 

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live" (Deuteronomy 30:19) 

"nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things;" (Acts 17:25)

God even commands us to show mercy and "choose life" (Deut. 30:19) unless he explicitly instructs and commands justice.  When we consider Jesus himself, life was the mission.

"because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death." (Romans 8:2).  "So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being;" the last Adam a life-giving spirit"  (1 Cor. 15:45).  "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life..." (John 14:6) "All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men." (John 1:3-4).

LIFE is IN Christ Jesus because he GIVES Life and thankfully bonds those who know him to the law of the Spirit of Life.  Knowing the Nature of God, Life, and Jesus himself, IS LIFE; it is hard to claim to know God and Jesus Christ and yet, justify abortion in his name.  That is usually when the argument and justifications turn away from God to the person seeking the abortion or support others who do.

Those who advocate for, commit, and desire abortions; they wake up every day because God allows them too. He values their life and desires for them to come to him in faith and value all life just as He does. 

"The Lord does not delay His promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance. " (2 Peter 3:9). 

God is extremely patient, giving everyone the absolute maximal opportunities in this life to repent.  Though he desires everyone to come to repentance and embrace LIFE for all, he is also ultimately sacrificially loving and gave them up to what they truely want; their sin.

"Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them." (Romans 1:24)

Repentance leads to eternal life.  Unrepentant hearts lead to eternity away from God.  Either way, all will be alive.  BUT, one life is better.  The repentant life.  That is true living.  God wants everyone to experience the fullness of existences!  The perfect life, with Him!  We all will live in eternal death or eternal life and if you notice, Deuteronomy 30:19 and 2 Peter 3:9 reveal and intimate side in God; a desire of God for his creation.  A desire for us to choose the fullness of life.  

It is willfully or ignorant willfulness that people believe God would some how justify abortion.  When we understand what God himself states and reveals about his own nature; we see abortion is deeply contrary to the very nature of God.  To claim that God supports abortion is incredible blasphemy of which God has already judged them for (Romans 1:24).

A pre-born person is a living person like you and me.  They are equally valued just as our lives are.   Why? Because God himself is LIFE.  The very nature of God is LIFE.  He created life, sustains life, and gives eternal life (or eternal living punishment)!
